We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have another Writing Workshop led by Anna Metcalfe! There are a total of 20 places and it will run for two hours at The Heath Bookshop.
The Writer's Toolbox
Every writing project demands its own creative approach. Finding the right stylistic and formal tools can help you better understand the work you want to make. This workshop is a chance to talk through your work in progress with fellow writers, consider any challenges and begin to build a robust toolbox that will help you to make real progress. Writers of all levels of experience are welcome, though you’re likely to get more out of this session if you have a particular book, story, poem, script or other creative project in mind. Depending on numbers, we might not have time to discuss everyone's work, but nonetheless you will leave with a pocket full of new approaches and editorial strategies to apply to your own writing.
Anna Metcalfe is a writer and lecturer in Creative Writing.
