March Album Club!
Be it FLAC, minidisc or vinyl it goes without saying that we’ll get the most from the discussion if you have a good listen to the album in the run up.
Our chosen album this time around is:
'Pretenders' the debut album by The Pretenders
Our three key tracks are:
Track 3: Up the Neck
Track 8: Kid
Track 9: Private Life
The Album Club is Switch Radio's regular music review show - think book group but with records! Each month we'll be discussing a nominated album through a lively, audience led discussion and social event designed for lovers of music, literature and community Radio. The session will be recorded and edited for future broadcast.
If you'd like to get involved all you need to do is book a free ticket and have a good listen to the nominated album. Switch Radio will post all the information on the key tracks for discussion, some homework and an outline of how the session will work on their blog on the link above.
For more information on how to get involved and an archive of previous shows visit www.kingofthebuttons.co.uk
The Album Club is written and presented by James Sandy for Switch Radio in conjunction with The Heath Bookshop and as a King of the Buttons production 2024.
This event will take place on Saturday 2nd March at 5pm at The Heath Bookshop. Free tickets available now.
We'd love it if you can support this event and we can continue to do it as a regular feature of our programme!!
