Poetry with Naush Sabah and Ayan Aden

Join Naush Sabah and Ayan Aden for some late afternoon poetry at The Heath Bookshop.

Naush Sabah is a writer, editor, critic, and educator based in the West Midlands. In 2019, she co-founded Poetry Birmingham Literary Journal where she is currently Editor and Publishing Director.  She is a visiting lecturer in creative writing at Birmingham City University.

An International Award winning Performance Poet, Writer and Facilitator, Ayan Aden is often seen on stage showcasing her spoken word art centered on empowerment. Notable performances include opening TedxTalks, Beatfreeks Youth Trends and performing in front of Regional and national stakeholders. Her works have also been published and saw her as the winner of the international EU Silisiladda Nabadda.

This event is part of 'The Heath Bookshop Literature and Music Festival'  which is supported using public funding by National Lottery through Arts Council England.
